Diane at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park. The lighthouse is the oldest standing structure in Miami. Posted by Hello

Corey at Bill Baggs State Park on Key Biscayne Posted by Hello

This is your typical intracoastal waterway home, nice house, landscaping, and of course a boat. If you look on an area map there are literally miles and miles of little canals and such with all these nice homes scattered about Posted by Hello

South on the beach at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. An interesting note, this is right in the middle of Ft Lauderdale, and in 1893 he puchased this beachfront property for $1 an acre. He donated the land to prevent development missing out on a nice return. Posted by Hello

Looking north on the Atlantic in Ft Lauderdale at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park Posted by Hello

This is looking north on the Atlantic coast in Hollywood. The water was a real nice aqua color with waves about 2-3 feet. Nice sand, a little more coarse than PCB, but real soft Posted by Hello

Nice view of the Everglades in the late afternoon, looking to the East, the Cypress were kind of lit up by the setting sun Posted by Hello

There was one stretch of road on a 'scenic loop' we took that was infested with gators. This little guy kind of charged right up to the car Posted by Hello

This guy was laying right by the road just taking it easy.  Posted by Hello

Right in the middle is a gator waiting for the lone tourist to come by. We were standing right there taking pictures for a minute before we saw him Posted by Hello

This is what alot of the Everglades looks like, 50 mile wide river of grass. The clumps of trees, or any thing other than sawgrass represent a slight change in elevation, which drastically changes the landscape Posted by Hello

Corey enjoying the Everglades. There's a good network of boardwalks and trails so you can get view of the different landscapes throughout the park Posted by Hello

Monorail that goes over the different areas of the zoo, it's quite spread out and it was pouring down and lighting right after this shot, so we saw alot of the zoo from above Posted by Hello
